Power & Ground Cable Information |
In order to connect your car audio components, you will need power and ground cable. The power cable transfers the electrical current from the vehicles battery to the aftermarket amplifier. The ground cable completes the electrical circuit and is connected to the vehicles chassis. For each amplifier in the system, having the same gauge of wire is absolutely necessary. Please make sure to connect the recommended gauge of wire to the amplifier to ensure that the appropriate amount of power if able to be transferred to the amplifier. Use the general guidelines below when choosing power and ground cable.
