Fuses |
An AFS fuse is similar to an ANL fuse, but it is much smaller and is gaining popularity as the choice for high powered installs due to its size and capabilities. We have the AFS Fuse you need to complete your car amp installation with ratings from 30 to 150 amps. |
The most popular style for small to medium size amplifier installs is the AGU type. We have fuses ranging from the small size of 30 amps all the way to 100 amps. Typically an AGU fuse of 40-60 amps is included with the purchase of an amp kit. |
Many of today's distribution blocks require ANL Fuses due to the fact that when you are using a distribution block, you typically also have a large amount of power and current draw required. As such ANL fuses range from sizes of 100 amps to 300 amps. |
ATC fuses come in ATC Blade and Mini ATC styles. They range from sizes of 5 amps to 75 amps and are primarily used in your vehicle's fuse box to control low-current draw devices such as your headlights or your interior dome light. |
You can think of a MAXI fuse like a larger version of the ATC fuse. While not seen in as many installs as ANL, AGU or AFS fuses, MAXI fuses provide a quick connect/disconnect option and are available in sizes similar to AGU from 40 amps to 100 amps. |
MIDI Fuses are a newer style of fuse similar to AFS and ANL. They offer a greater amount of surface area and allow for excellent power transfer, as well as protection. They are typically found in Amps ranging from 30 to 150. |
