I bought these JBL speakers and hope they will be what I wanted... I mounted them in my 18 speed boat that we run on the Hudson river in NY. I am powering them with a JL 500 watt amp and soo far great !!!

I have these in my boat and they deteriorated in the sun. The cones just frayed apart and stopped working.

These speakers have performed well over six months. They are partially sheltered from the wx but get an occasional wash when washing the deck of the boat. So far so good.
