I actually bought one of these used on Ebay, buyer said he only had it for a short while. Anyways I was cautious about buying a new one at full price because I looked all over the internet and could only find one review. even Power Acoustik themselves is vague about what this thing can really do. After finally having it installed the guy told me it was actually in better shape then the battery running my vehicle. He says it's an interesting piece of equipment inside it has 4 small battaries and four small capaciters. I like the fact that it also reads voltage with the car off it was getting over 12volts and with the car running it was getting well over14volts. I'm using a average battery and a 105amp alt with 0 gauge a Autotek mean machine 1500rms amp at 1ohm and a four channel (rockford 501x soon to be replaced) and so far have had no voltage drops since system install I was at about 13.5 before and remain at 13.5 now and my camaro still has the get up it always did. |

My first one, when i un-did the nut for the remote wire the bolt dropped into the body of the capcell so i had to send it in. my second one worked GREAT! for 5 minutes. after 5 minutes i smelled burning but it looked fine so i left it in. (was wired correctly) after one day the outside of the casing started to bubble and burn and it started only working for short periods of time (2-3 seconds) and now it totally doesnt work. im NOT getting a third one. also the directions are really short and unhelpful. not enough info |

I upgraded to a class D amp and knew my prior amp and system already killed my battery while in use.I would have to put my battery on trickle charge every time i got home.So in preparation of my new class D amp i decided to get another battery and while looking i found this.Anyway got it and applied it to my new set up and no drained battery. If you have a 85 amp alt and no option to get a over sized alt this cap cell is the perfect fit.Bass hits hard and lights never dim pushing a kicker zx 1000.1 and to L7 12's 2 ohm dual voice coils in 3.25 cu ft boxes. It rumbles
