I spent a while looking for a good 4 channel amp to buy and I saw that this amp received good feed back. After having it in for almost a month, it blew on me. Now before you say I had my wiring bad, no, I had a solid ground with full contact, proper sized power and ground. I've had problems with the amp to what I was suggested it to be as clipping. I had the voltage input at about half and the vibrating from the speakers stopped and to add to that, the fuses didn't blow, the amp did, non of the protections worked. Maybe I just received a bad amp, but I surely won't be buying anything from Infinity again.

Powering 2 - 10" Kappa 100.9W's in bridged mode in an extended cab GMC pickup, tri-amped with active crossover. The sound is crisp, clear and as loud as you want it to be, but be prepared to upgrade your charging system - this amp will give your alternator a workout. A joy to setup, all settings are easy to configure and no tweaking was necessary after initial setup. The sound is fantastic, with no coloration audible. Highly recommend this amp to anyone looking for a clear natural sound. Sonic Electonix was great to deal with and any future purchases will definitely be through them.

I have always been an Infinity fan and these Kappas coupled with the Kappa 4 amp absolutely rock! They are so clear and clean that you hear things in the songs that you may have never heard before. They can handle more volume than your ears can. The highs are ear shattering and the mids are tight. Just add a sub and you will be all set!

Had a powerbass amp before this one and the Kappa Four is definitely worth the extra $$. 2x cleaner and has extreme power for the compact design. Definitely enjoy the controls on the faceplate considering it is mounted on the back wall of my f150.

Absolutely everything I wanted in an amp, plus a power rating that is very conservative. It is small, powerful, clean as crystal, has the right adjustments, and is very robust. You can use the front two channels to push all the speakers you want, and bridge the back two for a really conservative 300x1 @ 4ohm. I swear this back two channels bridged has driven my 2 4ohm jls (2ohm load) as well as my Kappa monoblock (rated 500rms at 4ohm). When set up in the livingroom against other considerations for my mids and highs, going from my other amps to the Infinity showed just full and musical the Infinity amp is compared to some lesser brands. Best I have owned, and it is not the most expensive I have owned.

I use this to power my Infinity Kappa series 6.5's & 6X9's.
And it does an incredible job of it. Small size, big power, sleek design, Infinity is the only way to go for your mids and highs.

I bought this amp around 2 months ago from Sonic for $309.00 and it got quite hot but never shut off. I will say that I had it lying on the carpet in my trunk and carpet does not dissipate heat at all. The bottom of the amp is heavy thick metal more so than any amp I have seen. So the bottom acts as a heat sink as well it seems. I wound up mounting it (vertical) with 1.5 inch stand-offs from the carpet on my sub box and installed a squirrel cage fan (65CFM) from Sonic and she now runs warm to the touch. I did not rate this amp until I felt comfortable with the fact that it can measure up and not shut down when pushed. I have had a few other amps in this vehicle and they would shut down. My system consist of 2 10” Polk Momo subs powered by a MTX JH600 amp. I installed Infinity Kappa 6.5 components in the front doors and Infinity Kappa 6X9 coaxial in the rear. My head unit is a Pioneer DVD 3200. I also installed a 1 fared cap as well. All power and ground leads are four gauge. The total watts are just shy or 1300rms. I recently went on a 7 hour trip and ran the volume at moderate to high levels and I must say that this amp kicks butt! I cannot say how happy I am with it. I like my music loud and clear and this amp does both effortlessly. I cannot even turn it up too much because I am afraid that it will damage my ears! The highs are unbelievable as well as the midrange and bass. I have to set the EQ highs on the head unit to neutral. I will say as another reviewer stated that you better outfit this amp with high quality speakers otherwise you are wasting your money. You should always put more money in speakers than the amp anyway this is my belief. The setup instructions are clear and to the point. It is also nice having the controls on top of the amp. It has a small footprint, but is quite heavy considering this fact. When and if this amp dies, there is only one other brand that I would consider and that is Rockford Fosgate or another Infinity amp. I hope she goes the distance because I love it! I promise that if you buy this amp you will not be disappointed!

I upgraded to this Amplifier from Harman CA470 and I must say that the difference in sound quality is huge.. Highs/Mids/Lows all were perfectly blended into the air and smooth as silk. It has got better ref. SNR and is able to deliver more power consistently without overheating. I usually push my Amplifiers to their limits causing them to shutdown for protection sometimes, however I've not been able to shutdown this Amplifier even after my wildest efforts, thanks to Class D circuitry. Looks wise I would say, I found it average as per my taste, but who cares when Amplifier has to sit in the boot and just has to sound good, that is its primary job. The separate Bass booster lets you tune it to get more bass out of the system. But just as an advice, make sure that the connected speakers are of very good quality, as average quality speakers/components will be of no use with this state of the art Masterpiece.. I'm lovin it and I don't think I will ever be able to replace it as an upgrade..

Smallest amp ive ever owned. I have to put all my amps in a tight space n this amp is ideal for the operation. It has good thermal control and thats good cuz i use every ounce of power this thing has n its in an unvented space. Good quality. I like the way the tuning options r set up. Very user friendly.
