I searched through a dozen or more different speakers in this size and couldn't find any that could handle the power that I wanted to put to them. These had the highest power ratings that fit my budget. I didn't like the plastic mounting tabs, and even though I was weary of them breaking; I still managed to break one that I needed. Great sound for the size / value.
