July 31, 2012 I do not recommend this amp kit

I am currently running a Kenwood KAC-9105D with this amp kit and it does work but I wish that I would have bought a better kit from stinger. The wires are kinda cheap and appear to be aluminium coated with copper. This kit would be fine for 500 watt amps or less in my opinion

This item is garbage. The RCA cables are very poorly shielded if shielded at all. They were installed correctly away from any power cables completely on their own but produced irritating noticeable feedback. The gauge is thin and the barrel connecters are so thin it feels like they are made of aluminum foil. The amp power cables are of decent quality and i would recommend them. The fuse holder for the main power wire coming off your battery is a bit flimsy. The rubber gaskets broke down and wore out quickly and the screws to hold the wire in place fell out from vibrations.

The wires are mostly filler if you want thicker wiring spend a little more if you can. Do not skimp out on the wiring because your amp will pay the price and then you will REALLY need to spend alot of money.

This feels like somewhere between 8-10 gauge wire. Not even real copper. This stuff sucks. I mean it'll work well for anything under 300watts rms at the max.
