I have been installing alarms on my cars for 20 years. I remember my first basic Viper and this was no harder to install than that. In fact is was easier since they have all the wiring harnesses broke out by function.
This alarm is also a very good buy for the money. $125 will not get you more than this thing. My first alarm cost more than this and did half as much. The LCD remote is very nice, metal case feel solid and the buttons have a nice positive click to em. it lights up in differenet colors based on what event is happening ( IE: red when the alarm is armed, green when disarmed) Range is also very good, I am sure it will do every bit of the 2000 ft is boasts. Only bad thing about it is memorizing all the functions. It is ALOT of button combinations to make it do everything.
