bought this for my ranger a year ago, put it in myself. it took about 2hrs to put in, but everything works like it should. i have put in other alarms, viper 791hp or something 5 years ago and a crimestopper 2way 3 years ago, this one isn't viper but deffinently better then the crimestoppers. it hasn't ever messed up on me. and i am on my third triple a in a years time. if you know what your doing and put this in yourself you will save $300+ easily compared to going to best buy or something and you will get the same thing. if you can't put it in yourself don't buy it cause a shop is going to charge you dang near $300 to put it in the right way with everything functional.
