Installed this under the back seat of my 2005 Jeep Wrangler. Having a Jeep with the top down constantly I wanted a marine amp. The Kicker seemed to big and did not have an all that impressive subwoofer output at 4ohm's so I decided to go with this. Its small and compact compared to other 5 channels. It has simple tuning and with my Pioneer head unit it makes it easier to tune to my likings. I would say if anyone is concerned about the price use the price match garente and this link to help lower it a few dollars. Overall its an excellent product and is well built and sturdy from the speaker connector to power and ground connectors. It gets slightly warm, but nothing like my old Sony 4 channel that I had. If your concerned about which 5 channel to get this should be your number one. Haven't tested the marine quality of it, but as of right now it is holding up excellent also has the blue glow I guess that's cool, but not necessary in my opinion. Sound quality is also quiet well not for hardcore audiophiles, but for someone that likes to good quality music this is fine. Get it and you wont be disappointed. My system is 5.25 kappas up front 5.25 Polk db in the sound bar and an 8 inch polk db sub and it sounds great. Hopefully when I get my Alpine or Jl 8 it will sound even better.
