My old dependable Acme Supreme juicer- which I bought over 10 years ago USED- finally failed. It happened without warning so I needed something quickly. I read many reviews and compared prices. Most were overpriced and many were shoddily made- even the more expensive ones. The reviews on the Kuving were pretty good. 6 months later I'm happy I bought it! I far exceeded my expectations for the price and it continues to function well. It is not a long term deal like a stainless steel Acme but until I can afford a better model, this works almost as well and holds up. You do need to treat it with more care than a Acme because of the plastic parts. It is also a pleasure to clean. One of the easiest I've encountered.
