I installed this sub in a 1.7 cubed sealed box I bought here as well. It is running off a JL 500/1. I have had all the subs out there from JL W7 to RE Audio and Diamond and Adire and TC Sounds. This sub is extremely accurate and tight sounding. Even at low volumes it is perfect from a 35 hz tone to a 55 hz kickdrum. The excursion is very impressive and it works well in small boxes which is always a huge plus for everyone. It also does not require much power to get loud and sound good. It is just now getting broken in and I could not be happier with the results. These are not very expensive at all and are awesome. These should be a top seller on all sizes.
