I kind of went out on a limb ordering these (came in a combo package with CTX-6.5cs the ID12 D4 and the RE Audio XTX-500.5) I had never heard of Image Dynamics until I had shopped around for a new system for my 04 Trailblazer. I am by no means an audiophile, but I know what sounds good, and these things do. You can definitely push things things without worrying.
Overall, these things have really impressed me. I honestly haven't really listened to these a lot (I don't sit in the back seats that often). From what I have heard though, these things are pretty clear. They can be just a little muddy in the midrange at times, but it could always be what I'm listening to. That and 2 way speakers are doing more work to cover what components do. They have a good amount of punch to them, even towards lower listening levels. I don't know how good the real low end of these are, because I rely more on my sub to take care of that. What I do know is my system is one of the best I've personally heard in a car thanks in part to these. I would definitely recommend these.
