Second time buyer!

This is truly an all in one with clear backup camera image, great navigation and can be used with a dvd player. The bluetooth works, but a little distorted for those recieving the call. This is the seconnd one we purchased because we loved it in our other vehicle.

VS
Disappointing

My Toyota dealer recommended this product as an after-market option. Being that I wanted a GPS, bluetooth and backup camera, this product seemed like the perfect solution. It was a pricey option through the Toyota dealer at just under $1000, including install by a 3rd party installer. The product is disappointing in several ways: The speaker is built into the mirror and the speaker faces the windshield, not the occupants of the vehicle, so it is difficult to hear GPS commands or telephone connections, especially if it is raining, the wipers are on and the AC or heat are running. The microphone pickup for the bluetooth is on the right side of the mirror - not close to the driver's side - and recipients of calls state that the sound of my voice is tunnel-like and hard to hear. Having the GPS on the mirror sounded like a nifty way to quickly glance to see the map, but it's too small to be easily visible by the driver. The instructions for setting up "my favorites" in the address book or POIs leave much to be desired. I still cannot get my favorite POIs to save under "my favorites." An email to BOYO customer service for instructions assistance did not result in any response from BOYO whatsoever! For the price, it may be better to work around the inconvenience of a portable device at nearly 10X cost that can do GPS and now many have bluetooth connections as well. The backup camera is pretty good, but takes some getting used to. My suggestion is to think twice before purchasing this product.

My boyfriend bought this for me for my birthday. I thought it was too advanced for me and didn't think I needed one. But now, I am so thankful that I was introduced to this awesome equipment. It's user-friendly and I get so many benefits that I wasn't even looking for before. I didn't have a smartphone so I've just always used Mapquest. Now I am so reliant on my GPS and not afraid of getting lost again. Also, I no longer need to use headsets when on the phone because of the bluetooth feature. I will never stop raving about this product. I am so happy I got one! Great buy / gift ever!
