I ran 2 of these subs in 2 sealed hatchback boxes in my ext cab chevy (rear firing behind each seat) running both off a phantom 5000 amp at 1ohm and they sound great! I ran the amp 1/4 of the way up and they pounded for over 6 months until i sold the system to my friend. He fried both subs by turning the amp up too high. If you are running a high quality amp like rockford, JL, etc, i would say each sub will really only handle about 500 rms. If im ever looking for another cheap set up, i will be buying these subs again. Sonic Electronix rocks!. buy these subs here you wont regret it. I only shop for audio here.
