I did weeks of research before I purchased the MB Quart ONX1.1500D a few months ago. I then ordered a JBL GTO 1014D dual 4 Ohm sub to pair up with the 1 ohm stable amp just for starters. Even though the amp is wired at 2 Ohms I am very satisfied with the sound quality and the power that this amp provides. I also have an Alpine PXA-H510 digital signal processor to process the analog signal from my head unit using a firber optic cable for signal transfer to the processor. I believe this amp will still be great without the help of the processor but who out there doesn't use additional components to improve sound quality? Like I mentioned before, the power is there and always available. Maimum current draw is 140 amps. Please use 2 gauge power and ground wire and upgrade to a Kinetik or Optima Battery with the purchase or upgraded voltagle regulator on your altenator. A capaitor or two just won't do. My sub is beatin' hard in it's 1 1/2 cu.ft. vented box. No trunk rattle, no dim lights, plenty of eye's wathcin'. Oh, no tickets yet. I would recoomend this amp to true audio entusiast who want real sound quality and power for minimal wallet emptiness.
