I bought this system because of the price point. Most other systems with similar fuctionality are much more expensive. The installation was fairly easy but until I got the car apart, I did not know that I needed an adaptor for the Antenna Cable. You might want to check this out prior to installation so you don't have delays. The controls are very user friendly and easy to navigate around the screens. The only complaint I have is it doesn't properly upload the contacts from my iPhone. The data is incomplete. The phone numbers show up but the names come in as random characters. Jensen says in the manual that this is a because of the phone not the VM9424. I find this interesting because I have Microsoft Sync in my other vehicle and it has no problem uploading the contacts. The Navigation system is adequate. The graphics are ok and the directions are good. I am used to the Garmin software which tells you if it is recalculating but the Horizon Nav Mate 5 does not. The Audio is quality is good and the Phone?Navigation directions over the speakers is very clear. Even with the contacts issue, I would highly recommend this sytem to anyone.
