This mixer was inexpensive and was just what I needed. I've had it for several months and it is still working the same as the day I installed it. I've had no problems with it and would reccommend it to anyone needing an inexpensive USB connect mixer for casual use.

I'm an avid musician and wanted to get myself a small set up for some recording. I was doing research and ended up buying an Audio Technica AT2020 and AT2021 along with the Alesis MultiMix 4 USB.
I use the mixer with FL Studio as my DAW. The USB interface works very well and with very little latency (using ASIO4ALL & FL studio). The mixer has two mic/line channels (w/ phantom power) and one stereo line-in channel is perfect for any recording I do on my own. Although there is no line-in for the multimix 4 USB, connecting the interface with to a laptop via USB enables all sound from the laptop to be played through the main & headphone outputs on the mixer, which I found was a very clean and neat solution. I find that the mixer works as it is marketed, with a very nice job done with the USB integration. I wish there were mutes and solos for each channel, but other than that, the mixer is pretty darn good. The build of the mixer is pretty sturdy, however I don't know what might happen if I dropped it off of a table. I think it'd be alright, as the casing is metal and it is pretty tough. I would say the mixer is not built to withstand a large fall. Recommended for it's solid 2 mic-ins and great USB integration.
