This is the second one of these I have installed, the first went into a s10 blazer. The most recent went into my Sonoma. It was easy, fast and fits perfectly. Sure it juts out an inch, but you won't have to modify anything or have a non-standard length stereo as you probably will with the Metra kit.

Without this item there would be huge spaces around the deck and who wants that. This is a must.

Since the DIN 1.5 is now a dinosaur, finding a decent adapter to fit a single DIN unit into my 89 Vette was a must. This kit had everything I needed to get the job done and it looks great.

I can't seem to get mine to fit my Blazer even though the instructions clearly tell you which bracket to use. But it's just not fitting.
