Be careful when buying TV mounts over the internet. We bought this mount 6 months ago for our 5 year old flat screen TV and it would not fit. We ended purchasing an additional TV mount and made the 2 mounts into 1. We debated at the time to purchase a new larger TV for the mount, but couldnt find one to fit the mount either and ended up giving up. We didnt try sending it back, as it is such a heavy item we thought it would cost too much. Otherwise, we like it and works great after my husband modified it.
