The subwoofer is rated at 600 watts rms, and I have read that it handles more than that with ease and I'm not surprised. I have 500 watts going to it and it could probably use more, but it still sounds good.
It is not the best for low bass, but I am not majorly concerned with that. It hits hard and has a good clean bass sound, good for rock type music. I would recommend this subwoofer, it is a good quality sub with good quality sound and is not a bad price.
