I bought these because i needed a cheap component set to hold me off til the speakers i originally ordered came off back order (not gonna say what the were... but they're a popular one). but after installing them i decided to cancel my backorder because these sounded so good! saved me a bunch of money and they sound great. highly recommended.

I ordered these 6 months ago and they are actually good for the price. Depending on your audiophile profile and expertise you'll still find these good enough for a hold me over set. That's all it is to me. I will say that you should have a good crossover for these as they are a little harsh and bright above 2k. The motor structure is beastly which means many things if you know t/s specs. Only draw back is that I wish they could handle more power. But they are fine otherwise. I'd recommend these to hold you over, but you won't win a sound quality competition with these. Overall good buy.

I was skeptical about these. But they are very clear and loud just hooked up to stock radio. I have 4 of them in a silverado. Can't wait to upgrade to the xxx models though.
