The Crime Guard CG-550i6 was installed on my daughter's car and it works great. Battery life is a little short unless you turn off the remote when not in use. It was quite easy to program the remote transmitters if you follow the instructions on the users manual. I bought a second unit to replace the original remotes which is much cheaper instead of buying the remote separately.

I've been installing alarm/remote starts for over 17yrs. Its been holding up good. I have used DEI products(Viper,Avital, etc) in the past but now there prices are higher and quality has dropped. Installing the Omega wasn't to hard but you should have some auto skills before trying to install yourself. I like the remotes and the compact brain unit. I have installed a few of these with no returns or problems. I'm looking at getting a few of the higher end Omega alarm/remote starts to see how they work.
