You get your money's worth, installed on my 86 Chevy truck with no problems at all, this thing can get so sensitive that if you sneeze near it, it will go off, but im glad you can tune it. Has feature to add more switches if you want to arm your tailgate or truck tool box. comes with one for your hood, so if someone tries to pry your hood open to disconnect the battery it will go off. It has successfully driven 2 people away already, minor damage to my truck but insurance fixed it. Oh if you don't have an alarm and then install one your insurance will go down. at least mine did. I have bought several of these and installed on my clients vehicles and friends. Have yet to hear of anyone having problems. I would recommend this to anyone. The only disadvantage to this is the key fob drains the battery in it pretty fast. put my keys in my pocket one day and i guess it held the button down and my key fob was dead, but you can still disarm your vehicle with the valet switch. I LOVE THIS ALARM!
