I bought this unit for my 2009 F150. Big mistake. The unit decides what it wants to play, so every time you turn it on, you never know what it is going to do. It often changes from my iPod to the radio, which is annoying since this has the worst reception of any head unit I have EVER seen.
The unit is supposed to create an index of your iPod so you can more quickly access artists and songs. Even though it claims to update the directory, it never works. The touchscreen is painful to use, it will act as if you have selected something when you are trying to scroll through the menu, even if you do not lift your finger off the screen. Everybody that tries to use it hates it. The sound quality is OK, not great by any stretch of the imagination. Not even close to the Eclipse units I have in other vehicles. I would consider this one of the worst purchases I have made for car audio in a decade.
