I bought this radio to replace a Clarion CZ500. I liked the Clarion but it had static at low volumes, so I returned it and bought this based on a technical support technicians recommendation.
In all I find it to a quality radio. First there is no static at any volume. It sounds like the higher are better and I get more mid bass. It has HD radio built in, which takes a while to get used to. I love the fact you can turn off the sub preamps. My only complaint would be the lighting. When I have full sun it is a little hard to see the display. Good unit for the money

This stereo has lots of features for the money kenwood is one of the best on the market.
