Ordered 2 of these microphones and both had a hard time picking up sound. You had to talk directly into the top to hear anything. It kept popping in and out like it was catching certain things I said. I bought an even cheaper mic at Wal-mart and it worked better. Sorry, I was super dissappointed. That's just my experience.

I use the Gemini djm-2 to practice beats. Teaching son how to become a dj, and small partys.
