Just got this package a week ago and was blown away. Installed it my self with the instructions. I put the kicker in a ported box and sounds louder than my buddies 12" CVR kicker with 800w. Amp is smaller than appears in picture which was good because I mounted it on the box. Overall it sounds great for an entry level sub.

This system sounds great! Obviously you aren't going to blow your windows out but for a 300 watt sub it does the job. I installed yesterday and my crazy neighbor already called the police on me. . . at 1 p.m, but that is a separate story. the amp could have been a little more powerful but it is a great value and Kenwood makes quality products. I ended up going with a ported box because of the low power rating ( wanted to get as much sound as possible) and the bass is still very tight. I have this setup ran through a Kenwood KDC-452U. Installed in a 95 prelude.
