I would recommend purchasing from Sonic, the experience and website was very easy and forthcoming. My boat has never sounded better with the speakers I purchased from Sonic, and at a savings that I couldn't get locally. I will never buy any other speakers for my boat that don't say JL Audio on it.

I put two pair of these JL speakers in my Boston Whaler with a JL M600/6 amp. It sounds awesome!! I had to cut just a small amount out to enlarge the hole from the 6.5" speakers that were already there. It amounted to about 1/4" more of a hole than the existing. The bass was much better than the 6.5" speakers but I think I will still put a subwoofer in at some point.
