I purchased the iRoc because it was increasingly difficult finding a head unit that advertised full compatibility with the iPhone OS5. (OS5 and 6 does not support A2DT) and it is illegal to use a phone in our province.
The first iRoc I had worked just fine, I was very please until the 1/8" jack fell off. I contacted the company and they readily sent a replacement and I returned the original. Unfortunately the new unit not only had a modified Jack, it also had a different input jack for the microphone which required I locate a conversion piece, but they had also changed the 30 pin connector so I was getting a poor connection, to the point that I have not used it for the last month or more since the temperatures here fell below -20C. I am ready to change it for a conventional head unit with hands free and put up with the messy cables. Pros: Great if you mostly take long trips. Cons: doesn't like the iPhone bumper. With the iPhone absent, it doesn't show the time or basic local radio stations. Seems to be temperature sensitive, in the lower end of the scale.

I bought this for my boyfriend, he loves it. I find it a little difficult to change stations or play w/ iTunes when driving and wish it also had a regular radio for when friends w/out iPhones borrow the car.

Great sound quality. Sometimes the iRoc will use audio out of the headset instead of the 30 pin port. I could hear the difference when it would. Recently sold the vehicle I installed it in, and miss it occasionally since I use my iPhone almost exclusively for a music source now.

Seen this product at Texas Heat Wave. It was something that I've never seen before, I bought it on spot! The iRoc deck has multiple outputs for audio and video just like a regular deck. Your iPhone is the face plate. So basically whatever you can do on your iPhone you can hear through your speakers (Pandora, YouTube, ect.) and see if you have screens. Also charges your device, also works with iPods too. So if you don't own an iPhone no problem. I could go on and on about this radio... just trust me and get one!

Plain and simple, this system is exactly what you're looking for if you have an iPhone. It's convenient, easy to use, and relatively cheap. Granted, you have to spend a couple dollars on some apps, but it's better than a $1,200 navigational system. The sound quality is beyond anything I've experienced and the unit is extremely easy to use. Quality is perfect, never had any problems. I'd recommend it to anybody who has an iPhone.
