This head unit is exactly what I needed. I had a dual previous to this Sony and it was horrible the radio stopped working, along with the CD player and it had no settings. This Sony head unit is great! It has numerous features that allow you to customize your listening experience. I have it connected to my amp and subwoofer and it has settings for that to, to make sure that everything syncs and works together to get a good sound. Before this I had a head unit and some speakers. After buying this I now have a sound system.

The CD player did everthing I needed it to do, although it skipped under moderate to hard acceleration and turning corners. It may have been just that particular unit, but I'm shying away from Sony. There's too many other brands out there that I've never had a problem with to consider buying a Sony again.
