I have two of these subs in a custom ported box running off my old carver 250 watts RMS amplifier and they hit hard. Sure they aren't as loud as lets say a JL w3 but they are less than half the price. I am very happy with these subs, they shake everything in my car with a nice clean sound and very low power so its easy on your cars charging system. Also these subs can take a pounding, I've had mine for over a year now and i use them hard everyday and i have never had any problems with them at all. I definitely recommend these for entry level buyers who just want to upgrade their factory stereo's bass.
