First I wold like to say I now own two of these one for each of my 2 prius vehicles. While I do feel they are a bit over priced, these are absolutely terrific products. They attach to the rear view mirror stem and the radar dector no longer depends on the suction cup (of which I have had fall off the windshield) on the windshield. While they will still work with the accessory outlet cord, I installed permanent wiring. This allows for the 12v sockets to be used for other things like charging my phone.
