I bought these just wanting some more sound for my computer and for cheap! Well worth the price and gives me the sound i was looking for, and they look great!

I am really satisfied with the build quality and aesthetics of these speakers. The sleek look and silver/gray covers match Apple products perfectly. I am using them with my MacBook Pro 17" and they are a perfect match. The silver/gray speaker covers match the MacBook and the easy 3.5mm connection makes them a perfect couple. I put the subwoofer at 75% and the volume at 100% on the sub (that is where you control it from). Then I just adjust my MacBook up or down to my desired volume. Piece-O-Cake.
