Very impressed.with this Amp but, the manual could have been more specific on how to wire the high side inputs. The subwoofer power was more than I expected and I had to turn the gain down half way to power a Kicker CVR 10 wired in parallel to 2 ohms.

Very good AMP, does what it says, no issues.
Pros: Using all 5 channels, makes my 15" 1200w fusion sub pound, front and rear speakers are clear and loud. Cons: none Recommend this AMP to anyone, enjoy :) p.s. There customer service is awesome!

Bought this amp because I wanted to add some higher powered speakers and a sub to my 2013 mustang base model. I still need to do some tuning, but overall the sound is pretty good so far.
One thing to note that I missed, while this amp does have speaker level inputs, you will need a low level source for the 5th channel (subwoofer) So if your stereo doesn't have a sub/pre-out, you'll need a line level converter. Wish I had known, had to buy one locally.

I first questioned buying this because it's a power acoustic and haven't really heard much about the brand. Man I am pleased, I was able to amp my speakers and obviously my sub. Zero issues what so ever. Would definitely recommend buying this, especially if your on a budget.

After extensive research for one amplifier that "does-it-all" I ordered the Power Acoustik GT5-2500. There were no reviews for this new Gothic-family amp. Well, this amp does it all for me: 100W RMS running four component speakers, plus 480W RMS for the great JBL GTO804 8" Subwoofer. Unlike other amps in this price range, this one has VARIABLE high-pass filters for the component speakers (I set it to 100Hz). Most amps only give you 200Hz high-pass which is weird as the subwoofer is dialed to around 100Hz in its low-pass filter (in my setup anyway). This amp also lets you cancel the subwoofer x-over which is good for me as I have in the dash the Power Acoustik PWM-19 Parametric Equalizer so I can control the subwoofer's volume AND crossover point (I did not connect this amp's subwoofer control knob). Keep in mind many advertised specs (including at sonix) are wrong: there are NO Preamp RCA outputs, the input gain range is 0.25V~6V and not 0.2V~8V (it helps to see the zoom photos as well). Overall great sounding amp that allows you a single amp install without the need for a subwoofer amp. I only wished this sub would have sub-sonic filter, and that Power Acoustik's tech support would be more responsive and helpful via email. My other considered amps were the Precision Power PPI S580.5, the Crunch P1-5050.5 and the Boss CX1800, none of which come close to the power and features of the GT5-2500. I will definitely buy another same amp for a different car as it simplifies installation and gives best "bang for the buck".
