For the price you can't complain. This unit plays everything I threw at it so far with no problems. Currently I have no amp installed in my 99 Durango, and this unit blew one of my 60 watt RMS speakers. This Radio Rocks.
The downside is the mp3 formatting and playback. If you are playing a track and go back to the main menu to scroll your files, the music stops. Also I had to rename my mp3's so I can know what artist I am looking at. When playing, the unit displays The Artist, Album and track clearly, but when scrolling, you can only about 8 characters of the filename. Ex. 1) Young Jeezy had to be replaced with YoungJeezy because the spaces show stupid characters for no reason. (Young&!Je) also if the artist has more than 1 folder it shows (YoungJ02), but I least I can figure out the Artist, Can't see the album if it was part of the folder. All in all, it's still a darn good radio. 2 MEMORY INPUTS! USB and SD!

1 the screen looks good for a DVD head-unit at this price point 2 it plays every type of media i have so far tried with out one problem Cons 1 the sub output is set to LPF at 80hz since my amp has a crossover built in i could not use the sub out 2 this head-unit needs more filters on the input power, because alternator noise, the radio that came out had none and this one i had to put in a small capacitor behind the radio to resolve

Alright never heard of this brand at first but didn't find too many bad reveiws about them either. Picked this unit up for my lady cause the boring stock unit in her car just wan't going to cut it. hooked this bad boy and was presently surpised how much punch this lil guy packed.
Sound quality was pretty good, dvd playback was crisp. Interface is simple but thats no problem really as long as it does its job. Bluetooth was pretty straight to i could still tell my lady had the windows down but i could hear her pretty damn (pardon my french) cleanly. All is all i might have to sell my montior less cd player and get myself on of these . Overall pretty good product especially for the price.

I bought this unit for my 2001 Nissan Xterra. I never used Power Acoustik before so I figured I'd try it out. Installation went fairly easy. The sound is good, picture quality is good as well, so is the bluetooth. The only thing i don't like is the menu's. The menu's are set up as if the text and setup is from a 1980's nintendo game. very blahhh. Also the detachable face is tough to put back on since its so flush with the bezel in my car. I don't take it off much though. It might just be my make of car. My other car has a BOSS BV8975B which I also purchased on sonicelectronix. The screen is way bigger on the BOSS unit, and the picture quality and the menu's are more modern and interesting. But all in all this Power Acoustik is a good product so far.

This product is very nice and stylish. Hook up was a breeze. On the down side, the face plate hits my gear shifter in my '98 Blazer. The USB takes forever to read my thumb drive, and the sub output is fixed at 80Hz and can't be changed on the head unit. Other than that, it's a good, cool head unit. If you're looking for a big face unit, then I'd get this. If you're not, then get a regular flip out.
