I purchased this stereo with problems initially. The Video for the ipod would not play. It came up USB ERROR. Not good. Once I changed out the face of the stereo, it read the ipod, but only when vehicle was not running. The fix you ask? You need to use a cigarette lighter with the USB built in. Do not run the power from the USB to the face of the stereo. Use the AV1 cord to the side along with a ipod video cable and plug one end into the ipod and the RED, YELLOW and WHITE jacks into the female ends with a small single jack to the side of the face plate of stereo. Then run the USB portion of the ipod cable to the cigarette/USB and plug that into the cigarette lighter. You should be good to go. Be sure to set you ipod to TV out in the video settings of the ipod first. Good luck!! Works great now!!
