With so many headphones on the market, it can be confusing to find what product is suitable for your taste. I like a base heavy headphone with a complete range. I tried the Monster Studio Beats and found them substandard for the price. If you prefer your music with base with a shotty mid range and questionable highs then I am of the mind that Monster Studios are for you. I also looked at the Beats Pro but, then I only have 1 liver and it's about the same price. With the Monster Inspiration, for me, it offers a strong bass without the annoying reverb and at high volumes it maintains a crisp sound. It's a bit on the heavy side and they are big! The noise cancelling is a nice option and the flat cord turned out to be a true pleasure. As far as comfort they are much more comfortable than my Sony's, even after wearing them for hours at a time. Every once in a while you will feel the plastic inside the mesh ear cuff, but perhaps I only feel this because I have very little ears. They do feel well made, but I went ahead and purchased the optional extended warranty. From other reviews on other websites I've read that dealing with Monster directly for a return or repair item is a nightmare. Just something to consider
