I installed this Eq about 2 years ago and i used it for about 6 months. Its a decent EQ, you can tune your system and control bass, but i think the cons outweigh the pros. With that being said, 7 Volt RCA outputs were overkill, everytime i accelerated i would hear a whining noise. Also everytime i took my keys off the ignition i would hear a popping noise from my speakers. Also my friend who has this EQ complains that every time he turns off his car he hears a THUMP from his L7 Subwoofer. Overall, i personally wouldn't recommend this product to anyone, and What i suggest is to just buy a good radio the 1st time. Make sure the radio has 3 pairs of RCAs, and 4 VOLT RCA outputs. No more No less then 4 Volts. I suggest the Kenwood Excelon series.

Pro: Greatly improved sound quality for the front stage.
Cons: Subwoofer output sounds horrible. I just ran sub amps. Off of the deck. Main problem, after a couple of months I started getting an irritating whine. It sounded like a ground loop issue. Ran all new ground wires to every part of my system. No change. Changed head unit and no change. After two months of guessing, I finally tracked. Down the noise issue. There is a channel selector on the eq, which somehow malfunctioned. Both channels were trying to work at the same time and producing a ton of interference.
