The BEST ear buds you will ever find for this price or anything close to this price. Very relaxed highs lets you listen to these all day, and you will find excuses to do this. Audiophile's will love these and they take to amplification very well. The better the music file you put into these and the better the amplification, make these babies shine like the sun. No tangle nylon cabling and a handy hard case are nice added features. The buds fit into the ear so nicely you will think they are noise cancelling and they are very lightweight. If your listening to MP3's on your iPhone... well, then you probably wouldn't appreciate an ear bud like these.

The product's listed retail price on the Paradigm website is $130.
For the amount sonic electronix asks, you are really getting quite an amazing set of headphones. A word of caution: if you don't like heavy bass, don't buy this product. The sound is very bass-heavy, to the point that it tends to overwhelm the mids a little, so sometimes mids voicing can be overwhelmed. However, if you have an equalizer such as "Equ" on your iPhone or other portable device, the sound can be AMAZING. Seriously. I was able to remove the imbalance in the bass and raise the mids and treble so the sound is really quite stunning, which to me means warm, musical and alive.
That being said, there is a problem with the cables themselves. On the whole, I like the idea of the cloth cables. However, these particular cables were kinked from the packaging, and while most of the cable straightened out okay over time, my left cable stayed awkwardly kinked and rather ugly, and the cloth is now wearing out at those spots after only 1 1/2 months! Not cool. I'm hoping this is only an issue with this particular set, as I suspect that it sat in it's packaging too long to make it permanently kinked.
If I didn't have the issues with the cable,I'd wholeheartedly recommend these headphones. The lightness and comfort of the aluminum housings, and the rich sound I managed to get with an equalizer are well worth it.

These aren't as bassy as a set of jvc ha-fx101a buds but actual sound reproduction is excellent. I expected a company like paradigm to make the bass slightly heavier since they built their company mostly on their subwoofer performance but like the pdr-10 I have in my home theater the lows just fill in nicely. You can tell they are there but not overpowering. The microphone is fantastic! If you haven't had one try it. I can be cycling and take calls without any issue. Fit is finicky till you figure them out and the alum. Sleeve over the plug had to be re-glued.

very good sound. i have to admit i did expect more but for in-ear headphones they give very good sound. for the price i got them from sonicelectronix they are worth it. but for the regular price from paradigm ($130.00) i wouldnt pay that much for them.
overall very good sound. fits in ear nicely. and a nice little style to them to.
good product and recommended buying them from sonicelectronix!
