I would definitely recommend these speakers. I went to the local shops and listened to Alpine, Infinity JL audio and whatever else they had. I bought a pair of JLs for twice the price of these and they didn't sound good. I got these a week later because I had orion in my previous car and liked the sound. After installing them in my Avalanche. I was happy again. I currently have them hooked up straight to my deck but plan to go though my amplfier. The downs are the crossover is designed for an amp and are to big to fit into the door with the speaker.

i got these installed in my town and country sound van and it has crisp clean highs without being too harsh. the midrange isn't too overpowering and it hits the lows before i put the high pass filter on em. im powering them with the orion hp4800 at 65 watts rms and thats all they pretty need. these things go loud so dont be fooled by the shallow depth they have they r able to run with the big boys. the sound is real balanced and you know your getting the best when dealing with orion, even after the dei purchase.
