Overall you cant beat it for the price. The design is good. It said it had a crossover but it does not. Some of the features are hard to find.

This is the best reciever I have ever owned. It exceeds expectations in all aspects. It is extremely user friendly and it was a breeze to install. All you have to to do is wire the stereo wires to the proper plug in adapter for your car, which was automatically sent to me from sonic electronix. Just make sure you type in your vehicle in the tab. I ordered the dash adapter for my car with the reciever and it fits perfectly. It is one of the easiest things I have installed in my car. A CD hasn't skipped once, the sound quality is great, and it is simple to operate. It is simple yet it looks cool. I really like the auxilary outlet, because I can hook up my i-pod up to it. It plays mp3 format and also has wma playback. I also get better reception and more channels with the radio than I did with my old stereo. ALL IN ALL this is an excellent product and I would recommend it for everyone. The price for this product is very reasonable and I found that it was the cheapest from Sonic Electronix after all the shipping charges. If I were to by another reciever I would by this one again hands down.

I was looking for a simple, minimalist deck, and this one suits quite well. The sound quality is really phenomenal!
The controls are a bit odd to get used to. It is easy to accidentally bump the volume knob when trying to adjust volume, and end up adjusting EQ presets. Adjusting some details of the deck's settings (and there are lots to play with) requires pressing a couple different buttons to get at different menus. I find it frustrating and non-intuitive. The lighting is just a touch too bright compared to the rest of my dash, and while the dimness is adjustable, it's not quite enough and only dims the screen - not the rest of the lights.
When fiddling with settings (such as preset EQ), the display does not automatically exit until an "other" button is pressed - one more added step.
On the other hand, it is a very feature-packed yet minimalist-appearing deck.

this is clearly the best head unit i have ever owned for the price sub pre-outs and a remote c-mon see if you can find a better deal anywhere! if you can its probably stolen slick red buttons looks awwsome at night....GO SONIC ELECTRONIX!!!
6ft. 3.5mm to 3.5mm connection so you can output the sound from your iPod or other portable MP3/PMP player and connect it to the Aux Input of your car stereo (works great with factory and aftermarket stereos)
