i got this sub worrying that i made a mistake buying it and i'm happy to say i wasn't i use to have two 12 inch rockford fosgate T1's in my camero with hifonics 2000 rms watt amp and than i got this sub i only got one and this thing is louder than those two T1's. this is the best sub i have ever owned and not very easy to blow i have blown a sub or two in my days. this sub hits way hard i highly recommend it. but make sure you give it enough airspace it makes a huge difference i'm giving mine 6 cubic feet of air space

I have 2 of these in a huge custom ported box that takes up half the back of my Tahoe with 2 Memphis 16-MCD1000 amps pushing em and these subs will make your ears bleed if your in the truck more than 2 min my dad said he could hear me coming from 4 blocks away and whenever i bump it in the drive way it makes our whole house shake. I also have a pioneer touch screen with 6 jbl speakers and a 4 channel amp from memphis pushing them. These subs are not for the weak hearted.

It's a great speaker, when it was first installed and we turned it up just about half way it was setting off car alarms from across the street about 30 feet away....although the only downsides are, it really rattles the trunk, a given, I know...and I have found is that it draws a lot of power and all of my lights dim when it hits. You will have to beef up your electrical system (which is in the works), work on the trunk, and get a good amp to run it right. overall I have enjoyed the speaker greatly and most of my friends don't like riding in my car without ear plugs.....wussies....
