This meter is pretty cool. I don't know how accurate it is, but it's definately cool to compete with your friends to see who has the loudest system. It ended up breaking on me, the end piece came apart that reads the db. So durability isn't great, but its a neat product.

This is a pretty cool meter.. i got my system up to 125 db.. i have a youtube vid of it.. (New toy).. now i aslo have braging rights to people at school who say their system is louder but now i can test it!!

I liked the product and used it for a while. Found it very useful. This device has the tendency to get accidentally turned on due to the power button being located on the outside of the unit in an easy to bump location. As a result it got turned on a lot when not in use. However, it lasted for months and months (it might still be working now without need of battery replacement, but I haven't used it for a while). It is not terribly accurate but it comes close. Definitely worth the price!
