I do believe it is the adapter that i'm having problems with.
The problem is when I turn my car off but leave it on accessory, then turn the car back on, the SAT radio needs to be reset and won't work. The way to reset it is turning the car completely off, wait for the radio to power completely down, then turn the car back on. It will do this every time you put the car on accessories and then start the car again. Super pain in the butt if you listen mostly to XM/Sirius radio.
I never had this problem with my Alpine adapter for my Alpine head-unit.

I have not had any problems with the radio and am very happy with it. I would purchase the same product again if I had the choice.
One issue is that the forward/back, change folders arrows are very close together and you will hit the wrong button when driving. You can use the remote that comes with the radio to change the song, etc, but it is so tiny that it keeps getting dropped in between the car seats.

I bought this product solely based on the ability to match the Head Unit to my vehicles Interior lighting. I have owned 3 Kenwood deck, 4 Pioneer, 3 Clarion and 2 Alpine decks, and this JVC is on par with the rest of them. Lots of functionality/features with dual USB connections. Two thumbs up!
