I have this sub in a sealed .75 cubic foot box with some fiberfill (as suggested) and slightly overpowered. It sounds very clear and accurate. This sub isn't as loud as a lot of dual 12"s but it's definitely a lot clearer. If your looking for sound quality with some volume, these are a pretty good deal. Also, JBL gives you ALL the the lil small parameters, unlike most companies that can't even tell you the basics.

Had 2 of these for awhile hooked up to a 1000 watt insignia amp and they hit louder than any 2 10" subs i have ever heard people were actually stopping and staring well good buy for a good price!
Ordered the Fuller Canister Vac for a Christmas gift. It arrived in only a few days and looks great. Hope it works as good as it looks. Price was right and service excellent.
