- SIRIUS or XM Satellite Radio Ready: A subscription is required for service as well as either the Pioneer SIRIUS Satellite Radio Package or Pioneer XM Radio Package
- USB Input Ready: Pioneer CD-UB100 required and sold separately
- iPod Ready: Built-in direct connection and control through but Pioneer CD-i200 iPod adapter is required and sold separately
- The Apple iPod Nano 4th Gen, iPod Touch 2nd Gen, and any other newly released iPods can be controlled using the iPod adapter above; however, charging will not be possible unless you purchase the Scosche IFWA PassPORT charging adapter.
- Rear auxiliary input: RCA and optional auxiliary input ( Pioneer CD-RB20 is required and sold separately)
- Steering Wheel Control Ready: PAC SWI-PSv1 required and sold separately
- Front-panel auxiliary input: 3.5mm (headphone jack) allows connection to portable media devices such as MP3 players, etc.

My mother bought this unit for her car. When I attempted to use it I was stunned. I almost need to stop the car and get up close to the unit to read the lettering. Although it is a capable system, it was in no way designed so that it would be easy for a first time user to operate. I consider myself pretty tech savvy, but I found this unit to be very frustrating. I now make it a point to not borrow my mom’s car just so I don’t have to use this stereo system. Although pioneer makes some good products, whoever designed the user interface on this product botched it big time. My advice, buy another unit with larger buttons, legible lettering, and easy to understand instructions.

High quality car head unit, great sound. In my opionion Pioneer's only real competitor is Alpine but Alpine costs more money. I have put Pioneer in my last 3 cars and will continue to do so.

Not as intuitive as older models which I have owned. Great sound quality even on factory speakers- because of the adjustable frequency EQ and high pass filter. Good price for features and audio quality.

This is such a great unit, we bought two others for each of our other vehicles. Not only is the product awesome, we don't have to figure out a new unit in each vehicle. There are many features on this unit that we have not explored but for simplicity, this is about as easy as it gets (even for a non-techy!).
