This head unit increased the sound quality and loudness of my car sound system by a lot! It's pretty easy to use once you get used to it, which didn't take me that long. The iPod feature makes it easy to find my songs cause the menu is the same on the unit as it is on my iPod. The only complaint that I have is that you have to hold a button to turn it off and when I'm trying to turn it off quickly to get to the phone and not blow the persons eardrums that is calling me it's a hassle. I would prefer to just be able to hit a button and it turn off instantly. It's not that big of a deal though

The features built into this thing are amazing. I was looking for a head unit that had a rear USB input to play back MP3 files from a flash drive, and as a bonus it did end up working with my Blackberry Storm. Since it plays that through the USB instead of the headphone jack I can fully access my music from the head unit's menus and keep the phone charged during longer trips. You can never go wrong with the Pioneer name and this unit is no exception. Sound adjustments are extremely detailed. Took some time to get everything set the way I like just because you can fine tune your sound so much. The built in high pass filter is probably the best thing by keeping my Kicker 6.5's in the doors from going too low and distorting. Only gripe I could possibly have is because of the wheel design rocking in 4 directions, pressing directly down on it to access the menu can be tricky. I've only hit it wrong maybe 2 or 3 times, but that's because I have to actually make an effort to line my finger up perfectly on the center of it before pressing down. This really does not bother me enough to not enjoy using this unit. It's just something that takes that 1 point away from the ease of use. I highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for high quality performance without breaking the bank. I'm extremely satisfied with my system with just this piece and Kicker 2 ways all around me.

This is a great deck in every respect. Ive had it for six months and havent had a problem with it. Very easy to use, has some cool features when youre in ipod mode. Only thing it could use is all of the words on the buttons could be backlit, but no big deal.
Allows any 2005-up Pioneer CD changer-controlling head unit to accept an auxiliary source • Use for MCD Player Connection • Use for RCA to IP Bus • Auxiliary Input Adapter
I have bought all of my car audio from sonic and I will continue to buy from them: the staff is quick to answer any questions I have and I get every package on time and if there is ever a problem I just call and it is fixed with no hassle.
