Sound good and light weight
I got these for the portability of in-ears, but picked these specifically because they seemed a lot nicer than most of the others I was looking at. I'm very surprised how good these sound, they seem very clear. Not much on the low end of the frequency spectrum but i'm sure if I messed with an equalizer I could open up the bottom end a little more. Over all I enjoyed these.

These headphones sound nice and clear and not very loud which is good for heating safety. They are constructed of high-quality materials and come with good-looking cases.
Nuforce HEM2
i use these primarily with my phone and rarely with an amp. that being said, they sound great, incredibly clear, they dont give much bass compared to my w50s. they're probably the most comfortable pair of in-ears ive ever worn, the cable that wraps around your ears doesn't irritate my ears at all, ive had that problem with other headphones with similar design (w50s..).
the case these come with seems pretty much indestructible, so that's nice. i also like that it comes with a cable with a mic in it, so many higher end headphones don't have a mic, that combined with the case make these my favorite headphones for travelling (not exactly what they're intended for, i know). durability wise, they seem like they'll last just fine, especially if you keep them in the case. the braided cable might have some issues as the split seems kind of flimsy.
Nicely Done
The HEM2s pair nicely with the uDAC5. The HEM2s come with two cables and an wide range of different ear tips. I used them with the isolation tips. The isolation tips do a very good job of blocking out external sound. Now it doesn’t block all of the sounds but enough of it. I did find the foam tips to be a little uncomfortable which why the silicon tips are more usable with my ears.
I found the bass to be a tad impactful and it does not merge into the other frequencies. In dub-step and DnB songs I found the bass to be tight and not muddy at all.
When I listen to songs with drums I can hear the snare snaps and high hats so clearly. The higher frequencies are the right amount producing great clarity and detail.
Sound stage is small. Vocals are a tad out of my head and it was hard for me to place the location of the voices in some songs. Although in some songs it sounded like they were in front of me.
Separation between instrument and voices is very good. I can easily tell everything apart from each other.
It's just ok
I tried this pair of earbuds but I feel like it's just ok quality. I like the wire though since it's tangle free.
pretty cool lil buds
i've been using these for a few days now, and overall they are really nice sounding. very crisp sound, you can really hear every different instrument in the mix, and they sound very detailed. the only downside for me personally is they are lacking bass. Perfect for many types of music, but i'm tryna bump some hip-hop and the bass just doesn't do it for me. Don't get me wrong still a great pair of headphones, and i really like the design, they are very comfortable, probably good for the gym (but i don't workout lol) just not enough bass!
Nice looking
I really like the look of these and they sound great. I'm wasn't sure what 199 headphones should sound like but they are definitely better than the skull candy and other headphones I've used. I'm a happy camper for now.
For School
Hey everybody. I bought the HEM2 in a bundle with the Nuforce amp that Sonic had and I'm glad I did. I use these mainly when I'm on the move at school but when I'm in the library or at home i'll use the amp too. These sound really really good and my brother liked them so much he says he'll probably get one soon. These are way better than my beats earbuds and I like the color. Only downside is I hate taking them off in class because I'd rather listen to music than the lecture. Is that bad?
