I hate how people say that the product is fail. First off if you use an amp and not your headunit it will sound much better, people buy the cheapest headunit and think that the mids and highs are going to sound better than factory, wrong!!!!!! You have to upgrade all things to have a great sounding system, I have these 6 1/2 with 1000 watt 4 channel amp, pushing 150 rms per channel and it sounds great.

These speakers look like higher end speakers, unfortunately looks doesn't translate to great sound. So don't think they will perform like speakers costing three to four times the price.
The sound like factory plus. A little more than factory replacements. Don't believe the published figures. 170 watts rms? More like 40 watts rms. You get what you paid for with these. Good for inexpensive replacements, these are not upgrades, sorry.

I just have to say. Peak rated power is not the full spectrum. They rate speakers on a certain frequency. Your head unit that outputs a peak rating is rated on the loudest frequency in the spectrum. Each frequency takes a different amount of power to output. They aren't always rating things like lower frequencies, mid low, etc... It takes much much much much more power to throw a 20hz tone from the radiator than a 1KHz tone. The higher you go up should rely on acoustic horns, or much smaller diameter transducers ("tweeters"). If you use an underpowered amp on a pair of speakers that are rated for a much greater RMS and peak, they WILL distort. You NEED an amp that is rated higher than the speaker. You will actually blow the speakers much sooner if you use an underpowered System.

The tweeters in this package do not last long I have had them in my car for 2 days and they started smoking from playing them for 30 minutes. The mids sound good but if you order this you might as well buy good tweeters too.
